SNK, after its first fighting games, gets directlly into Football games....

'Super Sidekicks 1' is a football game in arcade format where there's no place for tactics, nor strategies; so the lovers of strategy forget it.... But instead, we have a lot of playability since the action goes in the most rapid way, in which scarcely faults are whistled and there is not even a moment for breathing clamly...

After choosing one of the different national selections or one 'super team', we will be able to choose between two modalities of game: The first one is a kind of 'World championship', and the second one is the typical 'Versus mode'.
Anyhow, already they could have strained a bit more and include some modality of game else to lengthen the playing life of this 'Super Sidekicks'.

It is necessary to emphasize the easy thing that is to control the players, since with only two buttons we will be able to realize all the game's movements : shots, pass, Chilean, corner kicks, faults, etc... like we can see, no complicated maneuvers to shot the goal are necessary, unlike other games of this kind. SNK returns to show his good way of making games offering a very playable game.

Even this way, we have detected that making goals in 'Super Sidekicks' is not too easy, on the other hand, is a bit difficult, since the goal keepers are very trained! In fact, we will need to shot to goal door time after time, in that way up to materializing a goal after our play...

As an expert football games player, I will say that is recommended to play by the band, to center to the second stick and to finish off with the foot, or with the head or with whatever! The graphs are normal, even for the times, but functional. 
As for the sound, we will say that the game possesses several repetitive melodies. The sound effects are not obtained well, since on having struck the ball, the effect seems the one in a combat of struggle. Definitively, a good game that you will enjoy undoubtedly, try the penalties, they are one of the best things in the game. ;-P
